Nowadays, tank coatings are widely used to protect the internal and external surfaces of tanks including different materials like potable water, acidic or alkaline chemical liquids, oil, etc. No matter what is stored in your tank, our various products keep the contents safe inside.

Tank linings systems are available for different tanks such as steel or concrete tanks, rail tank cars, crude oil tanks, bulk dry-storage tanks, and more.

IriNol is a phenolic epoxy coating that has excellent resistance against solvents, chemicals, acids, and bases. This product also makes a low adsorbed, smooth, and easy to clean coat that is suitable for special cargo and storage tanks.

For external surfaces of tanks, a zinc epoxy paint can be used as a primer. IriPrime555 is a two-pack, zinc content epoxy primer that is specially formulated to protect steel structures against severe corrosion. After this layer, intermediate epoxy paint is usually applied. Notice that for exteriors, it is necessary to be coated with a polyurethane topcoat (like IriThane130 or IriThane190).

For potable water tanks, the coating should not have solvent and toxic volatile components. IriFresh is a solvent-free epoxy coating formulated for the steel and concrete potable water tanks protection. It also complies with BS. 6920 standard.

For other kinds of tanks (like ballast tanks, cargo tanks, …) it is recommended to use high solid epoxy mastic that has good adhesion to St3 prepared steel substrates. IriPower is a good choice for these areas.
